Telecoms Start-up Helps Organisations Reduce Audio Conferencing Costs
Doncaster, South Yorkshire (PRWeb UK) August 31, 2009 -- Meetupcall (www.meetupcall.com) launched its new website and service offerings this week claiming that on average it can reduce an organisation's audio conferencing costs by over 60%. To back up these claims Meetupcall is offering a free conference call usage analysis and invites any organisation that currently uses a conference call service to take them up on this offer.
Simon Moxon, Meetupcall's CEO said: "In these difficult times organisations are reducing travel expenditure and relying on conference call services more and more as they try to keep face to face meetings to a minimum. Selecting the right conference call provider and the right conference call service will maximise these cost savings."
A conference call is a telephone call in which multiple parties dial into a single telephone number and participate in the call as they would a face to face meeting; no specialist equipment other than a standard landline or mobile telephone is required.
Historically conference call services were provided by the major telecoms companies as a value add product to their more traditional core services. Meetupcall believe that by specialising only on audio conferencing services, that they are able to provide a superior level of quality and service and yet still maintain significantly cheaper prices.
The key to Meetupcall's ability to offer their audio conferencing service much cheaper than their competition is technology says Moxon: "By using the latest communication and cloud computing technologies we have built an extremely efficient and scalable infrastructure that grows and shrinks with demand. This means we don't have any unused capacity to pay for, and can pass our savings directly on to our customers".
Meetupcall offer a range of audio conferencing services, from a free conference call service (http://www.meetupcall.com/instant-conference-call.html) for individuals or ad-hoc conference users to complete enterprise audio conferencing (http://www.meetupcall.com/enterprise-conferencing.html) solutions.
